Hi Dear Mr Wolff
Perhaps after cashing heart A at trick two, south can lead a low diamond to Q . If east ( or even west ) wins K, south has tempo to draw trumps and makes twelve tricks comfortably. And if east ducks, south wins, leads diamond to A and takes ruffing finesse in diamonds again making twelve tricks without any problem.

Hi AVRR,
I certainly agree, that after finding where the trumps are, that your simple line of play is better than declarers.
However, like Jim2, my head would hurt if I had to think it clear through, but thanks for simplifying.
Hi Dear Mr Wolff
Thanks and on further reflection, we can see that if trumps broke 1-3 With east holding Q or even 2-2 , south would have a nasty guess on second round and if he guesses wrongly, he would go down if diamond K is wrongly placed. Paradoxically bad trump break is good for south. A Philosophic touch indeed. Sure, playing Bridge, even a seasoned atheist would start believing

Hi AVRR,
Could directly lead to another popular parable, “God’s at his bridge table, all is right with the world”.
I would comment but I am still searching for the ibuprofen.
Hi Jim2
Lavendar / Eucalyptus oil may be better options. Ibuprofen after all may have side effects!!!
