Hi Everyone,
With my quest of hoping to be an intelligent source of crucial and practical bridge knowledge, the phrase of “cover an honor” while following suit on defense comes into inspection.
We all can see the necessity of West covering the nine of diamonds while defending against 3NT on today’s hand.
Therein making it a moral certainty for wannabe good players to expand their horizons and grasp the reason why.
Yes, bridge as a difficult game to be played, has more than just a few situations, subject to that fact.
Beat with that inconvenience and perhaps in most cases the correct thought process will come, if not sooner, then later.
