Hi Bobby,
At least is wasn’t SKx on LWTA when a club would be the least evil I feel. Take away one of the honours and life is easier but a small spade has a potentially hilarious effect. Give declarer SAK10xx opposite xxxx and what is the near certain result.
Regards
Iain
Hi Everyone,
When the shouting and the hoorahs die, any declarer who would strip the two high hearts and then lead a third one is attempting what should be called, “The Disrespectful Coup”.
Of course, if the diamonds were such that they could be played without loss (QJ doubleton or four to a single honor and, of course, guess it correctly) then my hat is off to him or her. However, trying the ruse probably should be the chosen line, if for no other reason than to teach his victim partner how important it is to defensively “COUNT THE HAND”.
Also, perhaps West should discard his 10 of clubs when declarer draws three rounds of trump, though doing it should not be necessary, since he will be the likely one who may be thrown in.
Hi Dear Mr Wolff
Mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror on the wall
Who the freakin’ savage?
Too bad mirrors in all suits
Regards
Hi Iain,
With three guys and one gal to choose from, who wouldn’t, choose the small one from the lady?
However, while at the table, methinks I would choose one from one of the cowboys, probably a heart, because of the minor suit tens.
Oh, the perils of first and third, instead of second and fourth is up and ringing.
Hi AVRR,
And only 25 hcps, but still a fighting chance. Yes lady luck is having a bad day or at least she is passing it on to her victims.
