Decided to respond here, rather than there.
Even though your action is definitely more scientific than his (he would simply chirp 6H) since his high cards precluded his “walking the dog”, with anything much less in high cards.
Obviously, there are no set rules with “special” hands, allowing no real way to guarantee results, causing that hand to choose what he or she thinks will result in the better ending. “Different strokes for different folks”!
