Other than that if EW have managed to take contract of 2 S down South must of ruing the fact that he chose to bid 1 S and not make take out double as 1 H doubled, 2 C doubled or 2 D doubled by EW all go two down with best defence.

Yes, N-S could have done better on defense, but our beloved game, not being privy to the other 39 outstanding cards, often keeps us from playing as perfectly as we would like.
