Two stray thoughts here. Firstly, East does better as the cards lie to play the C9 at T1. If West has (KJ and the 4 could be from KJ42) then it doesn’t really matter so the question is whether West is more likely to lead from K64(2) or J64(2), the 4 being the card led in either case. I suspect the former would be less attractive.
The second query is whether there is any case in doubling a fit jump not to show values in the suit (unlikely and, even if you’ve got them, a lead there may not be best) or to suggest a top honour in partner’s suit. Any thoughts or is this being a bit too offbeat?

My first thought is to check in with you so that everyone will know that all is well, since getting a new keyboard, due to the other one wearing out.
I haven’t been able to yet check out your first concern, but perhaps it wouldn’t be offbeat to suggest that your other recommendation that your thought was not necessarily offbeat, but, in truth, is not necessarily onbeat either. Only the Shadow can answer correctly, and even he (back in the early 1940’s was only a Cranston of his former self).
