After the hand thoughts do and always will perplex the bridge perfection guy (or gal).
While it is most interesting to understand and linger to being such for posterity it likely is a losing habit for real. IOW, keep it as real as can be, just for discussion, but do not be carried away in either searching or undue provisions in order to find such, although excellent for writing bridge columns, but likely a losing proposition to count on them.

Love today’s quote! Reminds me of a supposed discussion between a life insurancce salesman and a prospective customer. The latter asks how the policy works. The salesman truthfully says “Life insurance is where we bet that you’ll pay us more while alive than we have to pay back when you die.” “What if I die young?” “You win”.
