On “Shape Suitable”‘s dilemma what (if anything) can be inferred from partner passing? I think we can discount any sort of significant spade holding or extras with (say) a singleton spade like x Kxx KQxx AKJ10x when 4N is maybe worth a try. If it is something like Jx Kxx Q10x AKxxx though then our double of 4S may not be very effective.
This sort of hand gets very expensive at teams and often triggers disproportionate arguments at pairs if you get it wrong.

If anything you are understating the mysteries to be found out, possibly the hard way.
Yes, I will suggest bidding 4NT, but do so, only because I want everyone to know that my boots are on, not off, but to really be confident while doing so, needs someone much braver than I.
