Hi Iain,
As long as that rabid rabbit doesn’t appear often, and in his case, once a lifetime is borderline, people and our readers, may continue to pursue the
game we judge as not only slightly above ridiculous, but sadly commonplace.
However when “fertilizer” becomes an integral discussion in what is hoped to be valid for our bridge loving public, we would be moving in the wrong direction.
Add to that, a careless view of the auction, it proves that it was
very wrong for us to include such goings on, although it may give both a lighter moment and, of course a “just feeling superior” feeling to players who
view a session of bridge, particularly among better players, takes just too much concentration, in order to not only survive, but to sh! occasionally win.
