Hi Dear Mr Wolff
Truly another instructive defense. Bridge players learn in the cradles not to provide a ruff and discard but certainly there are exceptions. However , perhaps south might as well duck the second diamond. East cannot overtake due to the presence of ten in dummy. West might persist with inertia and continue diamond. Now south wins and proceeds to lead low spade from hand and the partial elimination works as east is helpless.

Hi Dear Mr. AVRR,

Better than Bambi who opted, but stayed, just an ordinary deer unless one learns to think that him playing bridge, makes him inordinate. Dear me, since he might not have wanted to be humanized, a not so wonderful thing to be in this wildly troubled universe where we now live and are all blessed by playing bridge.
