E-Mail sent as column repeats yesterday’s – as the old joke goes, the dictionary definition of “recursion” is “See recursion”. Mind you, it was a really instructive hand.
Iain
Nice one, Sally! Many thanks.
Hi Bobby,
If South carelessly didn’t unblock the C10, he is still home if either E or W (the latter improbably) had 4C as well as the HK, while the C J dropping makes life easy. Is it best to cash the HA though or keep the HAQ for a 3 card end position still having the H finesse as an option? I suppose the danger here is that now East might be down to HK and CJx at the end – as in my fate the pother day so it removes an unlikely option (West has led from the HK at T1) but kills the chance of a bad decision.
Regards,
Iain
PS We should send Sally something as well as just thanks.
Hi Iain,
I’ve been busier than usual and just had time to tune back in to listen and surely agree with you, to be done by me. However, Iain will you or someone, send me her full address with mine 8374 Capavilla Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89113.
She is at sally@masterpointpress.com so i’ll pop her an E-Mail – done.
Hi Sally,
Please send me your home address so that I can thank you for all the wonders you have done for us and, no doubt, the entire bridge community.
