Hi Bobby,

Under different circumstances (South having H10xx say or even Qxx but no 10) East could switch to the SQ after taking the HK but not today as South’s hearts allow him to switch tack.

Regards,

Iain

Hi Iain,

No doubt bridge is a game which greatly favors players who view numbers as their Prince Albert, while others would list word meanings, such as the difference in meaning between glorious and beautiful as more their style. With Chess, the specific movement of the various
pieces will eventually, if not sooner, determine its outcome.

Once getting past its initial leaning will then only leave making the most of its specific intent
with correctly judging the tools involved and using them to winning advantage.

No doubt, at least to me, is not necessarily a battle of random wits, but only a battle cry
to pay homage to the form of what rests supreme, right word, correct number or simply
the letter which handily defeats all.

Perhaps a sneaky way to describe high level and industrious competition, but we need to better describe the inside knowledge of what is usually necessary to win.

Methinks, the breaking down of what becomes vitally necessary to win in the long run,
becomes the best way to choose which game to compete.

In this case the holding of the heart ten could be the deciding factor. However, the game to be chosen to fiercely compete, will always be the one which comes naturally.
