Hi Bobby,

Surely a rare item – a hand where Chagas was on the wrong end of a swing, except perhaps in international matches. I just feel that if I (or jim2) had ducked at T1, pard would have had CAQ9x although most players would shy away from such a lead with 2N on their right.

Hi Iain,

Let’s suppose you were a small, but beautiful butterfly and found your present home
very near where that table was sitting. Just perhaps you might (would) have been
alerted by the 3rd seat resounding play of not the king. Wasn’t there, so do not have the right nor the gall to suggest that third suit play imparted more (or less, as the case may be) than just the face of the play showed. Could it be that West, by the time it was next his lead, to somehow continue clubs?

Excuse me for perhaps going beyond what this hand might foreshadow. Finally, nothing
trivial, I mean ………?

IHi Bobby,

I might flap my wings at the wrong moment and derail the whole match! See Chaos theory and a sci-fi story – The Sound of Thunder.
