Be it ever, thus. In today’s world, with so much interest in so many sports and all kinds of ways, not only to report them, but to carefully keep statistics with the motive of proving who, individuals or teams are the greatest.
With bridge, at least IMO, to be qualified to venture the result, one needs to be present when it occurs, to see the exact play and often, the time it took by whom, since that fact alone, will tend to allow an opponent to play in a more opportune manner.
When the shouting eventually dies, it, likely after the session, is time to go over carefully the winning and the losing plays made, always with the distinction of what play was best percentage at the time it was made and the solid evidence of
who made it and what G2 to expect to come from it.
