Hi Everyone,
Not much to add to the already said noise. However, it may be of note, the considerable advantage of holding those worthless 10’s to which all bridge declarers owe great debts.
Result, continue to factor them in when, breaking a perceived tie with value, but strangely rarely on defense, possibly caused by not ever, during the play, having a full look at one’s combined defensive potential. To estimate that value, and especially for football fans, much more consistently valuable than 2nd string quarterbacks due to their constant value, probably more frequent on offense than defense, but truthfully, at least to my knowledge,
no effort has been made, or at least publicized, about what an average value could or should
be considered.
Hi Bobby,
And 9s, 8s etc according to Robert Darvas’ wonderful “Right Through the Pack” with each card in turn playing a stellar role.
Regards,
Iain
Hi Iain,
Ay and well said, also to point out when holding 10s, 9s and 8’s their togetherness then
often makes the difference, sometimes held by your partner, but if so, and, of course, discussing with friends later, no need to mention his or her name, only because he or she
likely didn’t order it, like you, no doubt did.
