Hi Bobby,
Unusual hand where the defence has to change approach half way through. TBF, we’ve all seen declarers do that but usually with disastrous effects. South did well here today, though.
Regards,
Iain
Hi Iain,
Furthermore the declarer was short high cards, and, at the same time trump length,
proving “It’s whats up front that counts”, vaguely recognizable, as (I think) a one time
“cigarette commercial”, but now, somewhat because of the hand you mention, it applies
to our great game bridge, which lives, instead of what dies, or at the very least, comes close.
Perhaps we, or, of course, some entity, needs to offer the above principle, to help our somewhat vanishing great mind exercise, to NOT decrease, in WORLD interest!
Maybe, if you allow yourself to be the “POSTER BOY” to JAZZ it up?
Hi Bobby,
A kind thought but I think someone younger and better looking would be a better shot. Helen Sobel (when young) was an obvious poster girl but maybe we need George Clooney to take up the game?
Regards,
Iain
