If I were declarer at the table and used the column line, then West would have had one of the FOUR minor suit top honors and given East a Heart ruff with trump 2 – 2 all along.

There ought to be a Facebook style capability here e.g. “LIke”. You get the picture. I must say I’d have taken the HQ at T1 too though albeit more by “feel” than concrete judgement. East’s caution with 3 spades was very odd – surely partner is short?
