You might reach the making 5C though when the field is in 3N (going off against correct defence despite the combined 30 count). In that case, though, TOCM would amend matters so that West would turn up with CK alone so there wouldn’t even be a guess or South would have an extra major suit winner or something else undoing your good work in the bidding.
Did I tell you about “Treets” – a precursor to M&Ms in the UK? The slogan was Treets melt in your mouth not in your hand; this was due to the candy shell surrounding the chocolate innards. A stock joke was then “He’s so unlucky that Treets melt in his hand”. I do wonder what you did in a past life or was it something terribly remiss in this one, although probably by accident? I hope the Albatross of TOCM is counter-balanced by better fortune away from the bridge table. The resemblance to the Ancient Mariner seems all too apt.
