Hi Dear Mr Wolff
Declarer play in this hand is so subtle (after diamond K lead)and anyone executing at the table would certainly have a reason to rejoice. The key is to lead a diamond after leading spade to A. If declarer prematurely leads low spade, east wins and exits with diamond and the hand cannot be made . Declarer can thank himself for being dealt that precious 9 of diamonds. Perhaps this can be presented as a doubledummy problem.
