Just heard the news of Lew Stansby’s death which, especially to me, is just the worst news
to hear. He, truly was a magnificent player, with all his positive other attributes, made
him one of the greatest gentleman ever to play or defend a. bridge hand. I will forever
remember his major contributions to our off-the-charts great game and think of him every time I do. Many condolences to his lovely and charming wife, JoAnna and wishes for her memories of Lew, to always warm the day.
