Hi Bobby,
I love the life advice under BWTA. On bad days I sometimes ask myself what I might have done wrong in a past life to get into the mess I’m in during this one. Then I realise it is this one I’ve fouled up in some places (only some though).
Regards,
Iain
Iain –
That reminds me of a scene in a story I once read. In it, one character asserts that, since no one knows (has any empirical and repeatable data) what happens after death, the choice of whether to be believe in an afterlife or be an atheist is clear. That is, if an atheist is correct, there is no actual gain, whereas (if there is GOD) being an atheist could have eternal consequences. Furthermore, since there is no proof which religion might be right, once should choose the one which predicts either the best Heaven or the worst Hell.
Hi Iain,
After reading your comment, you didn’t hope that you totally had blown a favorable after
life, so whatever you are doing, is it too late to suddenly change to hoping your finesses
in life itself, start working better? One finesse is always worth, at the very least, two peeks and never doubt it.
Hi Jim 2,
Some free advice to you is unless your bridge luck has completely been overhauled,
the thought of your bringing it out of hiding, would rival sticking your hand, or other attachment to your body, down a hole in the ground while visiting a creepy jungle, to find out
if anyone or thing is home
Hi Jim2,
I’d heard that too but can’t remember who it was. Pascal perhaps – I’ll see if I can find out. Shouldn’t it be least bad Hell though? Think mathematical game theory here… There again, what if the worst Hell is having life all over again with the same mistakes and disappointments!
Hi Bobby,
Thanks for the thought. In the event of someone judging me, I’d better hope they are both tolerant and have an appropriate sense of humour or I’m on gas Mk 6.
Regards,
Iain

Having the worst Hell has value because the presumption is that, by being a believer, one has the best chance to avoid it. That is, if the “correct” religion has a milder Hell, then one’s mistaken choice of the “wrong” religion has lower consequences.
The whole thing is a version of “game theory.”
As for TOCM ™, I am hoping that it’s letting me “work off” all my negative karma in THIS life! 🙂
Hi Jim2,
Sounds like a good theory to me!
Iain
