Hi Bobby,
If West does the RR coup and pulls out a small club at T1, South will think the Aces are split but the other way round and probably go off regardless. Very interesting hand, though although the H carding should be clear enough. Either partner has H42 alone or H4 alone. If the H4 is bottom of 3, what has happened to the 2 as South didn’t lead it.

To me. this hand shows the necessity of partnership agreements of bids like South’s double of 5 clubs to whether or not that was extra offense (his intent) or better defense, methinks
the more common accepted meaning. However. because of the holding of the club king methinks NS might have had a miss understanding, but mightily survived anyway.
Also, at least to me, yes, the jump to 6 diamonds turning out beautifully only because of the unlucky defense, plus the key club void and the North hand having two kings rather than
queens (the heart queen joining its key male value) and jacks which, in turn, are much more valuable for NT play and game hands, not slams.
