Hi Dear Mr Wolff
I wish you and Judy ” A Very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year” . Learnt from your post that starting New year, Barry Rigal would be hosting the column.
Indeed I would be missing your presentations with all your wisdom and gentleness. Wish Barry Rigal great time
Best regards
Wish Barry and all the bloggers too ” A Very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year”
Hi AV,
With winners and bridge lovers like you around, Barry will do a great job with minding the store and, if anything, our beloved column, with such a great
cast of characters, will soar to new heights. I look forward to many happy and positive days, still reading about the great game we are all so fortunate
to have discovered.
And, for gosh sake, everyone needs to stay healthy, happy and wise. and,
like the great New Year coming up, let all of us still able, to keep bridge at the top of the list, for both constructive things to do, and allowing numbers to
lead the list for succeeding in so very many things.
Hi Bobby, Wishing you and Judy A Happy New Year. Stay healthy and look after yourselves. Over the years you have always been here for us in Bridge and your advice has changed us for the better in other aspects of life. Cheers Patrick
Hopefully, Barry will — as you did, Dear Host — use some hands from the fabled Lower Slobbovian Mud and Slush Cups.
Hi Patrick,
And to you, a healthy, prosperous New Year with winning finesses, but only when you’ve overbid. Thanks for your personality, friendship and especially
the love for our game to which you have always remained loyal.
I hope to remain a constant kibitzer as long as our column remains doable, and with Barry in control we’ll always be blessed with the best in charge.
Hi Jim2,
Do not worry since, with my retirement, Judy and I are thinking of relocating to Lower Slobbovia, but both Judy and I are worried about the weather there, since when they talk about cold contracts, they really mean exactly that. In any event, if we do we’ll try and escape your bridge disease contracted years ago, while there, of the GOAT in bridge who has never won a finesse.
And one bit of bridge advice, passing out hands, can often work out better than expected.
Well, I’ve been told that UPPER Slobbovia does have better weather, but that might not be saying much …
