Bobby,

Our newspaper has reorganized the comics and game pages. Your photograph now appears on Sunday. Congratulations!

Hi Bill,

Are You sure my photo is not in the
“funny” pages?

Oh well, as we are well aware, the place for it, could definitely get worse.

Thanks for the news and a happy
Texas history day (March 6, 1936) to you when a bunch of mercenary heroes (Davy Crockett, Cecil B. Travis etc. (to which elementary school I went) mostly from Tennessee, defended the Alamo in San Antonio long enough, although every member representing Texas was killed, something that has never happened before, or since in any world battle, from their Mexican army (Santa Ana & troops) long enough for our future state to be ready for them at San Jacinto battle grounds (now Houston) the next week and won independence back to join the USA in 1845.

Overall, Texas had been under 6 separate flags and became the largest USA state till Alaska joined and then, of course, dwarfed them.

Much positive and constructive history remains with our country and here is hoping that not all of it suddenly disappears, so our kids and future generations can be proud.

Sorry Bill, in the above, should have been March 6, 1836 instead of 1936.

At least one too few proofreads, something similar to bridge, often leaving the poor club suit to shift for themselves.

Bobby,
You also failed to wish my sister, Katie, a happy birthday. But you did not know.

Your photo is only shown on Sunday. I also apologize for not going to the Alamo when I was in San Antonio. I let a thunderstorm and darkness keep me in the hotel.
