Hi Dear Mr Wolff and all
Wishing you and your families ” A Very Happy, Healthy and Satisfactory New Year 2022″. Let the New Year bring all Good things in abundance. Let us hope that in near future the pandemic would be thing of the past and forgotten as a bad nightmare
Regards
Hi Bobby,
Happy New Year! And bravo on using the subjunctive “were” twice in the “Bid with the Aces” part of the column. I always loved the subjunctive case; I thought it had been lost to eternity. 😉
Hi AVRR,
Much thanks for all your heavenly wishes.
No doubt this pandemic has effectively changed the world and not for the better.
However, look at the other side of the coin, when this one ends and the next one, in thirty or forty years, raises its ugly head, you and I will be experienced enough to know exactly what to do.
And BTW a very happy NEW YEAR back at you for everyone, especially your family.
Hi Steve,
And speaking of “were”, wouldn’t you expect a Wolff to not overlook that opportunity, in spite of the extra “f”.
Even scary friends, no matter how strange, are worth a howl.
And a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours.
