Notwithstanding the redouble, I’ll take my chances in 2D.

Same.

Sadly, it looks like we are about to lose this site. 🙁

Jim,
Bridgeblogging is indeed nearing the end of its run, but we are keeping it alive until you can find everything you love on Bridge.com. It has had a good run and is rich in content, but it is becoming difficult to maintain and is technologically outdated.

I think the column will still be accessible but I’m sad about that too. I hope you’re well; if you want to swap stories I’m at Iain.climie@btinternet. Com. I was Grosvenor couped the other week.

I opened a,weak 1N and pard transferred to 2S which all passed. At T1 LHO led the S10 and he find some mad plays. Dummy had QJ9xx opposite my A8xx and the Queen won. A spade of table got thecremaining small one and I stopped to think. Surely even this guy hasn’t found a suicidal lead from K10? So I finesse, he had, and pard and I both had to see the funny side. If you don’t you wind up unhinged for the next 5 or 6 boards which is wjy the coup is better at teams!
