An interesting hand especially if trumps are 3-1 and D not 3-3 when a 2nd club at T2 makes declarer’s life difficult. I fear for Jim 2 on this hand though; on a small heart switch at T2, he’d doubtless duck but TOCM would give East HQJ alone, West CKQ and the first four tricks are ripped from his grasp even though spades are 2-2 and D 3-3 all along. Fortunately I’m sure his partners have learned NOT to say “If you put the HK up and run for home you make 5. It’s at moments like that when Myrtle Bennett’s antics seem fair enough.
