Beat me to it. The king looks like the only return that makes sense. It only looks silly if South holds the A-J, but then how does West’s original lead make any sense at all? Third-highest from a nothing suit? Three-card fragment of three lovely low hearts? Nope, he has to have the ace or jack. All a long way of saying, rule of 11!
