In Mind Blown’s question, he says “They did not win any subsequent tricks” so it sounds like he saying the opponents won a trick between the illegal play and revoke because the illegal play caused him to miscount the hand (as it would!) and lose a trick he should have won. If so, it would clearly seem that an adjustment should have been made. Am I missing something?
