I sympathise with the trump lead, as declarer surely needs ruffs, but the CQ then small the K and a spade through kills the contract pretty effectively. South can win, play the DJ covered and taken with the Ace, then try the C9 but East should cover. If South ditches a spade then he has 4 losers, if he ruffs high then ditto although the spade can then be ditched on the CJ,
