If I am not missing something the contract can be made even if low spade is shifted at trick 2 by west. One should win in dummy cash AK Club and ruff third club with spade 6. what does west do he can ruff with ace or discard a diamond (best). on diamond discard declarer goes to dummy with a high diamond and ruffs fourth club with spade 8. west again discards a diamond. now declarer plays a diamond. The declarer can ruff with ace or discard a heart upon discard declarer wins in dummy and plays fifth club if east doesnt ruff declarer discards a heart and claims. If east ruffs declarer over ruffs and exits with spade if west doesnt overruff.

Mightn’t the law of migrating cards set the spade 7 in West’s hand to deal with that ruff with the spade 6?
