The D to the Q is obvious when you’ve thought of it but how likely is it most of us would have found it at the table? The urge to bash down the DJ or SQ after taking the HK is very difficult to resist. That’s one reason why this column is so useful – increasing the likelihood that we can spot such ideas at the table through actually doing some homework.

Much thanks for your continued support, especially so when we can feature a hand or
an unusual positive thought, which might apply in special cases.
However, instead of us being praised, let’s turn to the game itself to thank whomever
suggested any one of us to not only take it up, but, more importantly, to stay with it even when it appeared too difficult to conquer, which emotion is almost always, sooner or later, sure to be thought.
