A general query not related to today’ hand. I gather from Bridgewinners.com that there is a program called “EDGAR” which is used to help decide cheating cases by picking up odd patterns of bidding and play. I suggested that it might be worth seeing what it made of some historical events especially the infamous 1965 scandal. I’ve raised it as a situation but will keep you posted as to whether it is practical and what the results are. Given your concerns on other World Championships, I wonder if the idea could be more widely applied?
