Barry says near the beginning that you can’t draw trumps right away because you need them for transportation which seems completely true. But at the end, he says you can survive by drawing trumps at once which seems to contradict the first statement – and I don’t see how you can. I feel like a full explanation fell victim to column inches. Does anyone know what he was getting at?

I agree – drawing trumps then the club finesse looks like 5s, 3C and HA so won’t help.

I saw one way, but it appeared flawed in that it required cooperation by the defense.
Specifically, win the opening lead, draw trump, and duck a heart. As long as the defense then plays three rounds of diamonds, West is squeezed.
